For example: <"img" src="http://www.pervotheclown.com/pervoawt.jpg" > Will show as this:
<img src="http://www.pervotheclown.com/pervoawt.jpg" >
Just remove the quotes around img in the above example.

Thanks, Mister X. The insert image button, "IMG", should be recoded, as that's the purpose of that button. Making it show up as a URL defeats the purpose of using the button! :bonk:

As I understand it the IMG buttons don't work if html is turned on in the forums. I suppose they really should code it so that it either inserts standard html or disappears or something. It's not very obvious the way it is... lol. But if you look at the little box below the message entry window it says "HTML code is ON" and "[IMG] code is OFF". So it doesn't actually "make" it appear as a url if you use it. It's just ignoring those tags completely and what's left is the url.

Definitely a Bimmer. (BTW, for you who know nothing of BWMs, "Bimmer" is for cars, "Beamer" is for motorcycles).

They not only have the suspension and transmission right, but the control feedbacks ( pedal feel, steering feel, etc) is awsome !

Bimmers are really race cars disguized as luxury cars.

In the meantime, I still love my cracked-windshield 1989 525i

:D

BTW, Panky, it was, you were, won-der-ful ! :sunshine: Thanks !

In the meantime, here's a car I drove while living in Germany years ago. One of the most fun cars to drive... and sexy too.

BMW Z1

I love how the doors actually retract down into the chassis.
I drove this baby 220km on the A5 autobahn. woo hoo!

I looked at a new Aston over the weekend, casually of course, and saw that the beast only gets 11MPG, lol

Of course! It's soooo easy. Not a 50:50 weight balance and with no understeer, I'm told...

At our local racetrack, there is a hairpin turn that we call "the Caroussel"

Porches feel like impersonating a frisbee every time they get to that turn. Bimmers don't. (they drive right through into the grass. :D

Oh well, you can't have everything. Bummer.

http://www.edmunds.com/news/conceptcarspotlight/articles/51600/article.html

Cadillac turns 100 next year. That's quite a milestone, and the manufacturer has, quite understandably, planned a bit more than just candles and a chocolate cake to mark this momentous event. In celebration of gray old age and survival, the company has given itself what is, in fact, a very special gift (let's all join in the chorus: "Happy Birthday to Me"). That gift is the Cien concept, a mid-engined two-seat sports car that Cadillac describes as "a befitting icon to usher in the brand's 100th anniversary."

The Cien delivers on its visual promise of power with a 7.5-liter V12 that kicks out 750 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque.
