I'm not ashamed to say I did and I met great people! (that was WAY before Chris!) I got fed up of the club scene and I wanted to meet someone that was "normal". Go for it, but listen to your gut. If it sounds too good to be true...It probably is! :p

It's great to meet people you've been knowing for ages on boards in reality!

Sure is smutbabe.... I've had more internet dates then I can count over the past for years (atleast 50+) Most first dates were last dates because I wasn't attracted, uninterested, etc........but 3 of them turned into semi-long term relationships. I was just curious about everyone else's luck. My guy friends don't seem to have luck when it comes to "looks'' when they meet internet gals, but I've met some damn fine men!

I have to admit I put a profile and photo up on a site with a personals section. It's a trendy art/personals site. I met a really nice guy we met for coffee after a few emails and just clicked. I never would have met him any other way, he's a little older he's a lawyer. It's one of those things our social circles are so different unless I bumped into him on the street or something random like that we never would have met.

All I can do is smile when I think of him:) Oh and maybe cause I have a date tomorrow night too.:p

I met my girlfriend on ICQ. Luckily for me she has a great sense of humor, as the first thing I ever told her was "damn not you again", thinking it was someone else.
