I think it's a bit of both, but the loonie is certainly dropping as of late.
It's a good thing, and also a bad thing. While we like it to drop (those of us paid in US funds), we don't want it to drop too much or too fast since it can really disrupt the economy.

Both.. but sadly it's not a sign the US economy is getting better ;) oil prices are falling (Yeah! for all) and that has dropped the value of our dollar. When oil and commodities go down investor fall back to what used to be a sure thing, the green back.

I'm stoked our dollar has fallen. :)

The US touristas and Euros will come back to Canada though.. so tourism will definitely increase, manufacturing now has 25% better pricing making it more attractive to US buyers.
