G'day Mate, just installed it to see how this one goes.

I'm still using 2003a.
I have found that it's the most stable of any of the more recent versions.

How's it going with that version Mark? Are there ads that you can't get rid of? Any bugs?

I'm always game! :D

I haven't tried that version. I use Trillian now, but I'm not liking it much. This weekend, I need to seriously houseclean my computer and get rid of stuff I never use anymore, or seldom use. Trillian will be added to the trash pile.

I'm going to wait a bit and see what the feedback is on this new version.

G'day Don, I felt the same way after I couldn’t remember what version I had installed when I was using #3766926
Wanting to go back is no longer an option.
Cheers!

Chris, this version seems slightly different as there is a menu sort of dhtml style on the left of the icq main window. The control buttons are at the top after you install.
There is a add box at the bottom, funny last night I read it. It stated, 17 singles are waiting for you right now. So I clicked and nope, no one waiting for me...
So the adds are still present, you can still access google from the bottom.

Overall. It looks fresh, different skins are already preloaded, the dhtml menu is fast access and my friends are still there.

Dear Panky,
I never did install trillian, can't remember the reason why though. Does this mean that you will be no longer contactable on icq? After you clean up your puter?

I'll always have ICQ. I just won't be using Trillian. I'd rather have my IM programs seperate. People say it is foolish because you have seperate programs running instead of all in one system like Trillian. The thing is, I'm not getting used to Trillian and I only ever really use ICQ, unless another IM program is needed for someone specific.
