I think it is.... Canadian Bacon, looks more like ham then bacon, sometimes has cornmeal around the outside ..

Canadian bacon = back bacon = bacon (British)
Canadian bacon tastes like ham and is much leaner than American bacon. It's made from pork loin that's been smoked and cured..:)

and the edge is usually rolled in peameal. The yellow stuff that looks like granulated sugar.
It's known as peameal bacon in the States and quite a few places. Canadians just like to be different. :bonk:

It's HAM! a.k.a. Canadian Bacon.
I remember back in the '70s when PizzaHut offered "Canadian Bacon" as an alternative to "Ham" on pizza.
