I'm not the wine connoisseur I once was. When I lived overseas I really expanded my wine knowledge, though.

I'm a big fan of California Zinfandels. I had an excellent one recently. A 2001 Ravens Wood from Napa Valley.

What kind of wine do you like?

I like a good red especially when out for a nice dinner.. but I do settle for a bubbly for occassions like bbqs :)

I would have to say Penfolds, Bin 28, 128 & 389. I am yet to find a better drinking wine than Penfolds.

I love Wine. Got my own wine collection and love drinking and buying wine.

When it comes to alcholic beverages, thats prolly the one I drink most. Never had a thing for drinks or beer.

Although a cold beer in the summer is hard to beat.. ;-)

I never drank wine much at home. Since moving here, I've grown quite fond of wine. :D

I love my whites. I prefer wines with a slight fruit finish, but I really just love them all! LOL! I like blushes a lot too. Unfortunately, I can't drink reds. They make me severly ill.

I'm not a connaisseur, but depending on the occasion, Yellow Label is always good, Bin, Penfolds. If it's just for every day dinner, nothing really fancy, I really like Vivolo DiSasso, an italian red wine. Not expensive, like $10 a bottle, and goes with most meals. A nice little merlot.

Well I went to the booze store today and they didn't have one bottle of Zinfandel in the whole store.

I couldn't believe it.

I find the same sort of thing sometimes in some bottle shops they don't have a wide variety.

Everytime I see this thread, that Red, Red Wine song that UB40 did comes to mind. :bonk:

Wine is a tough thing when we are having dinner at home, I like the dry reds, and my wife likes the sweet whites. So, at home, we generally make cocktails. :xhappy:

I like a goodred wine... Wolfblast Yellow is the pick of the times...
I am not too partial to the whites, however, a good champagne I will enjoy one glass

I have to admit, I love the Two-Buck-Chuck at Trader Joes. It's this really cheap wine that tastes like a good not-so-cheap wine. LOL!

I had my first Sangria this weekend. I'm hooked. Yummmmm. :)

Yup, Yellow label is great.
I'm not a fan of champagne though. Although once a few years back at work I had about 2 bottles cause we were celebrating great financial numbers at the office and well, I had to go back to work. If you ever had Drunk Tech support for your video card, it might've been me! :)
