Hello All,

Thank you all for the warm welcome, I look forward to participating in discussions and helping out where I can. If anyone ever needs anything please don't hesitate to contact me and I'll do my best to help out. I've been working closely lately with customers and am interested to find out what you look for in a host and what's the most important facet to choosing and staying with a hosting provider. As we look to develop towards the future, input from existing customers and those in the business for many years is always helpful.

Regards,
Neil.

Stability.

- Doesnt matter the price of the service if the site(s) are not online 99.9% of the time. Everything about the hosting itself gotta be stable and reliable.

Quality of service.

- Having good support. Not only fast, but good. Opening and clearing tickets fast.

Price of service.

- Good price is always nice, but the points above are the most important.

"all that" (above) - delivered with a friendly attitude and that host is a winner.

Think these are some of the most important qualities to look for in a host.

Couldn't say it better myself.

I always get taken in by the bandwidth, but I also look for reviews on web hosts to make sure they aren't known for having much downtime. If you're a newbie I would suppose you should look for a host with good customer support.

these are all very good but also make sure they have good record keeping. You dont wanna pay and them not keep track of it.

Price for me isn't the biggest issue. Generally, hosting is affordable right across the board nowadays.

I look for two things. Uptime, and customer support.

Uptime big must have -- customer service/tech support there when needed.

i think the most valuable thing that hosting can show to customers is uptime..if they can maintain that customers will be very happy every time.
