It appears that email is being sent out to users or random people coming from the xnations.com domain.

Nobody from xnations has anything to do with this. Here is an example of what you may or may not yet have received:

Dear user debby,

It has come to our attention that your Xnations User Profile ( x ) records are out of date. For further details see the attached document.

Thank you for using Xnations!
The Xnations Support Team

This was sent from mail(@)xnations.com, which is an address that is never used.

Please keep an eye out for this stuff, and I will attempt to get to the bottom of it. Thanks.

that sucks, Someone did that to me using my mommabig domain once. I recieved many man nasty emails because of it also....Fucking Russian bastards. Dont ask how I know its Russians, with me it always is. Its not just a hunch though, it was Russians.

did they actually hijack the domain somehow or was it just emails sent with an xnations address in the reply to email section?
