Has the .xxx domain been put on hold?

Did the Commerce Department ask for a hold to be placed on the .xxx suffix so it can receive further scrutiny?

Has anyone heard any more news?

Yes, the last I read it has been delayed. Apparently the US government is having second thoughts about the whole thing.
