Traffic sessions 101: The truth about traffic for newcomers.

Thinking that you can just purchase an expensive traffic push from a "trusted and well established" traffic broker and sit back and watch the hits AND conversions come in is the first mistake that many webmasters make. Just because the traffic is promised and that it will be "unique and clicked doesnt mean it actually will be. A lot of the huge companies and tgps that sell traffic at OUTRAGEOUS prices are still pusing foriegn, non-targeted traffic mixed with generated or FAKE hits wasting your time and money. I mean lets face it, there is no real way on your end to track it, and any company that can go from no hits to over 1,000,000 uniques a day is just a couple of years obviously didnt get there on their own, and NO, they dont have any mysterious ways of getting traffic. Supporting the "YOU MUST ALWAYS TRUST OUR COUNTERS" bullshit stated in almost EVERY traffic purchase policy. I mean, come on let be honest about it. Anyone can doctor up phony traffic stats and sell horse shit. Nothing is ever whats its cracked up to be, the traffic game is changing every day, and the last time I tried to pull legitamate traffic out of my ass, all I got was a pile of shit. A lot of webmasters are under the assumption that any traffic is good traffic, NOT true.....
stay tuned. :)

Not all traffic is good traffic, clicked traffic means CLICKED, but it doesn’t mean its clicks that you want, for instants, if you purchase traffic from a tgp in clicks for say 10k, you WILL get 10k give or take a few, but you have to take into consideration the geos in the stats, Where are the clicks coming from, are they even in English, can the surfers that are lead to my site even read on how to nav. when they get there. You may think that this doesn’t make a difference, but think back to a time when you have accidentally ran across a foreign site, that may or may not of had great content, but you couldn’t read anything and simply closed it out. Virtually ALL traffic companies except for a select few, sell shitty traffic with poor demographic proxies. Clicked traffic that has absolutely NOTHING to do with what you need if for. Also this traffic can and IS considered targeted. So with confidence you buy TARGETED, UNIQUE CLICKS, but you can lead a blind man that has to take a shit to the restroom, even open the door, but that doesn’t mean he is not standing in the women’s restroom. If you must purchase from a traffic company do your research. Go to Google with the traffic company that you are interesting in making a purchase from and type in ( The truth about >example company< ) or (>example company< reviews) check the reviews if there are more than a couple of bad reviews then they are not there for no reason, no matter how good the packages look and before any purchase, ask for a sample of 1k or so. Any confident legitimate company that has nothing to hide about its stats will do this, no problem if you seem sincere about making a purchase. Make sure you have more than one counter, Sextracker is a very good counter, and trusted by many, but its not enough, find another counter to go with sextrackers free counter, then on top of those stats check your server stats. Examine the uniques, reloads, ips, and demographs on all trackers and make comparisons that will come out to at least 70% related. the stats will obviously be off by counters, but if you get a hold of stats that are off by hundreds then there is a problem, if you get stats that show nothing but foriegn origins even if they are TARGETED UNIQE CLICKS then there is a problem. Take enough time to do this with several companies untill you find what you need, learn to read and understand the stats before you concentrate on trying to generate targeted unique clicks, because truthfully those terms have little meaning where it really matters...... continued

If it where possible to examine traffic by means other than virtually, it would look a lot like traffic that you see everyday on the highway. If you create a highway, and populate it with highly valued shopping points eventually traffic will maintain and run in predictable patterns. But, of course, if no roads lead back to you, expect no one.

If you are pushing one main site, weather it be a paysite, or a sponsor site, prepare to push dozens if not hundreds of gateways and link pages. When you purchase traffic once, even by the hundreds of thousands, if you check and watch your stats you will be surprised that only about 1% will return when the purchased traffic flow stops. But, if the exit from your product always leads back to you, you can increase the percentage of trapped traffic.

For example: if a surfer is looking for mature, chances are GRANNY would catch the surfers interest on an exit link, so Giving that you have an incoming targeted hit to mature, Focus on offering mature content of course, but as a secondary option below your thumbs offer, GRANNY text links. Instead of that page leading directly to your sponsor, because again this would be more of a guessing game, direct the link to a (GRANNIES link and thumb specified page), then on that page, add every possible granny or mature scenario. This way you are bound or at least have a better chance of hitting your target and making good use of the traffic.

You should be double directing the traffic yourself until it finds the proper parking place, so to speak, cause hey, some surfers aren’t just out to find mature, but may be looking for a fat, red headed granny sucking a 14inch pink dildo, and we want to give em what they want to have a better chance of converting, and remember, make the same link page as an exit full page popup with more and larger mature specific thumbs with alternate text link offers, such as mature lesbians, or mature orgy. This way if for some reason everything that you thought you had offered was not appealing you can at least force one last appeal, redirect the traffic again and possibly trap a sale.

If you are focusing on selling a certain niche then make sure you offer everything that the niche has to offer. It will be a shit load of work, but worth it in the end, if you offer EVERYTHING covering that specific category or niche then the surfer has no reason to overlook you, and if you don’t make a sale then at least doubling up on the incoming traffic by redirecting lost hits back to you will build up your traffic rankings in the long run.

Remember a good salesman doesn’t just go out selling one thing, but finds out what the customer WILL buy then offers it to them in overwhelming possibilities of accessories and good deals. …..continued.

Feeder traffic, how is important is it. It’s like the old saying goes any buzz is a good buzz and press can promote profit if you know how to make good of the situation. Hence all the Michael Jackson coverage and the sudden long lost urge of wanting to hear his music suddenly being rekindled just because of the constant repetition of his name in the press. You have to get your name out there, and it does not matter to whom. As long as who and what your company is and does is revolving in the wash load of the masses it’s bound to rub off on someone.

To tgps and small free sites, feeder traffic, good feeder traffic like the traffic that can be purchased from choker traffic or FPC clicks really delivers as promised. Although this kind of traffic may or may not produce sales it is really better used for rankings. Push your site up the charts of sites like sextracker. When it is visible that your site is evidently somewhat popular according to rankings and the numbers that are shown for all to see, you will start getting clicks from REAL unique visitors. These visitors want to see what all the fuss is about.

Curiosity and popularity are you 2 main promotional points, know how to use them to your benefit... continued
