Apparently the world record for solving a Rubik's cube is 20 seconds... Unbelievable! I couldn't even do it in a day if I tried!

Here's an interesting read if you've got a cube handy, I might give it a try: clicky (http://home.freeuk.net/config/cube/index.htm)

I bought a paperback book that gave a step by step how to solve it ... and yes it was the exact same method described here .... On a good day I could do it in about 30 minutes ... this German girl I went to school with could do it in about 2 minutes ... you could not even begin to follow her movements :(

I admit the first time I tried - I gave up and pulled it apart (i was 4)

I did eventually solve it

then in 1998 the released the rubiks rings in time for the olympics - that was kool and I had one of those too

I also had a rubiks pyramid

I just love silly shit that wastes time and annoys me :D

I remember back when they first came out (78? 79?), there was this little Vietnamese kid on tv that did it in about 30 seconds.
