I'm thinking of collecting watches. My mate Nick does that, and it's got me to thinking.

I've got a Rolex DJ, and a Breitling Hercules. I'm thinking a Panarei 126 next.

Thoughts? Pics?

I have a Bulova Marine Star.

I bathe a toddler every night and it's still ticking.

Nice watch actually. I'm looking at the Nike's with the heart monitor myself.

I used to have a nice Gucci watch.
Alas it was from a previous life.

I would like to get a Breitling though. I really like the Super Ocean models.

I'm actually looking at a Zenith Chronometer

It is the same movement as used in the Rolex Daytona.

By the way , a good steel rolex Daytona can be worth more than a gold one....they are rarer

I have a few of rolexes ,(presidential , submariner , a bubbleback ansd a prince) a few omega's (the moon watch speedmaster , the seamaster , constellation etc etc - I REALLY like omegas I consider them rolex quality for a 5th the price) ) a couple of girard perrigeux , a rare IWC Schauffenhausen , a Jaeger Le Coutre , a couple of Breitling , a couple of Cartiers , a couple of Bulgaris...and so on...so on...

My pride and joy is a Moon phase Perpetual Calender Minute repeater (One of the most complicated wrist watches ever made)...it chimes the time for you and does not require adjusting provided its wound til around 2400AD....it is also perfect to fire off on peoples back swings....;-))))

We care not what NWA on other boards think.

We are, however, mad for pics around here. :) Especially pics that don't have naked people in them. (Our efforts to make Chris a centerfold notwithstanding.)

A great "watch thread" needs great watch pics! http://www.porn-sex-adult-xxx.com/smilies/clapping.gif

I collect watches, mostly pocket watches, but pretty much anything that keeps time. I don't have many stellar expensive ones, but I have a few old Waltham watches, but they're kind of annoying because you don't want to be the dipshit that broke a watch that's been working for 100+ years.

So, yeah, I wake up in the morning and don't reach for those watches :D

Morgan check my avatar.

Thats me wearing 10 of them.

One on my right arm is under the strap of another. ( Had to explain that Dr.Guile thought I had tatoos , and I think he doesn't date men with ink ;-))

I admit, I'm with DrG. When I first saw the avatar, I also thought it was a tattoo. ::-|

Impressive collection! :)

Do you still have that gawdawful Versace "find me at the airport" sport coat you were wearing when I first met you?

I *love* pocket watches! You're right, though...as much pleasure as I'd get from just owning a century old watch...I think I'd keep it safely in a nice wooden display case.

My tastes are much lower down the "watch food chain." I want a Bulova, because I love the word. It's euphonious.
