Anyone watch the Sopranos regularly?

Season 6 premiere was on last night and man it was good. I missed the show so much i 'm glad its finally back on. I'm not going to spoil what happened if you missed it... but seriously... best episode i've ever seen.

Can't wait for the rest. It's a shame this is the last season of the show.

Im glad it's the last season. That's the only reason this season wont be never-ending feet dragging like the last two.

Last night was great, and I hope the rest of it is as jammed packed with action.

I didn't watch it as I had lost interest since it took sooo long for them to get this season going. But after all these comments I guess I should hit the DVR and give it a watch.

My father is a huge fan, so I have it recorded on my DVR from Sunday. I'll have to break down and watch it tonight. Seems I might have closed the book on Tony and his family a bit to soon. :)

Yea, definitely a great first episode. Sopranos is definitely my favorite show, and I'm really excited about what will happen for the rest of season six. Also, for the guys that said they are going to download some episodes, where do you download them??

Just when I think I'm out...etc., etc., etc.

My husband had to drag me kicking and screaming into watching the series at all lo these many seasons ago. I don't like "anti-heros" and spent a lot of time muttering "why don't they all just DIE already?!?!?" (The same thing with "The Shield," to be honest, but I did get truly and honestly hooked on that.)

I'm "semi-hooked" on the Sopranos, I guess. I watch every episode, but part of me is still rooting for the shot in the dark that takes all of them out.

Except poor, damned, dumb Adria. That scene hurt. They never showed her body and I kept hoping that "tv magic" would set in, and that shot was fired to teach her a lesson and convince her to split town and not come back...or something. No luck.

My husband is so hooked that whenever he gets pissed at HBO for never having a movie he'd consider watching and mutters darkly about getting rid of it...all I have to do is softly say "Sopranos" and he decides HBO is a worthy channel after all.

sopranos most definitely makes it a worthy channel... and I too was most upset at the loss of adriana.... so young ... and sooooo incredibly hot... why kill the sexy one that was always changing ?

The writers painted her into a box. After the complete "I'll stand by CHRIS-TO-PHER! until I die!" despite all the reasons even a semi-sane woman would have jumped ship, she got taken in by the FBI...and there was nowhere else to go.

There's a new show on called "The Unit" that - *sigh* and "of course" - features the wife who just doesn't frigging get it. It caused my husband to remark "if I ever for some reason join the Mafia or something, I hope to hell you'll have the sense to keep your damned mouth shut." (He has a problem with "wives who just don't get it," be they Mafia or Special Forces.) I just gave him a look and said "how long have we been married?"

*I* have a problem with men who don't sit their women down and say "ok, here are the rules." If Christopher - whom I despise and hope DIES this season - had sat Adriana down and told her the rules - especially the one about "if the FBI grabs you, stick your wrists out for cuffs and say 'do your worst.' I'll wait for you and you'll get big props and lots of jewelry from the Family" the poor dumb blonde would still be alive.

Of course, she should have been killed earlier because she put a bullet in Christopher when he sat on her dog. I'd have sliced and diced the fucker for that.

Every time I think about killing off HBO I remember ... Sopranos, Deadwood, Rome, Bill Maher.

Pretty much means many hiatus grumbles, but it's now super glued to the box.

Second one sucked. Yesterday's ... it's starting to build momentum. And it had a few funny moments.

I haven't watched the third one yet, but I have hope now. Thanks, Drav. http://www.porn-sex-adult-xxx.com/smilies/wavey.gif

The second episode left both me and my husband muttering "oh, for fuck's sake" a lot. I thought it well and truly sucked.

I've always hated the son...now I hate him even more.

The daughter is starting to grow on me, though. She should have shaken her mother by the throat a few times...not to mention more than a few members of the hospital staff.

I think everyone wants to "whack" the hospital staff. :getya:

Drav...you and I need to talk.

I watched the third...and oh, for fuck's sake...I want them all dead. I want them all dead NOW.

Luckily, if Tony ever regains his two-digit IQ...he'll kill them all, starting with "you owe me" Christopher.

Other than seeing Steve Buscemi again...the whole thing was a waste.

And I have to keep watching this shit, too.

*spoiler if you didn't see it*

Morgan .... What? You didn't love that Paulie nearly killed him talking and Tony banging on the hotel wall yelling "Shut up!" ... or the big guy asking Silvio while he's being taken away why he didn't call? Or how disappointed they were that Tony lived cause now they had to give Carmella a cut? How about when she's telling the shrink that she shouldn't have gotten mad at her son because "he's really trying"? How about, I need a writer for a movie, let me go kidnap him out of his class?

Dunno, I thought it was a riot! :)

Yanno, somehow...it's a lot better the way you wrote it. :)

I watched it at the "end of the day," when my tolerance levels are unusually low.

I still want them all dead.
