Paysite Questions.

What is the most important factor in realizing a profit from a paysite?

1.) Signups greater than bandwith and hosting costs ?

2.) A solid team with concentrated efforts focused on traffic /promotion/ advertising/ customer service?

3.)Content?

I know they're all important but which would you say holds the most water?

invalid question... you can't have one without the other... therefore... all of the above.

Want a site... great, use one or two, want to make a profit... then make sure you get all 3 at best possible levels you can ;)

My reply would be none of the above. I'd say it would be retention all the way. Keeping your members for that extra couple of months after they sign up is definitely what seperates the winners from the losers. This is dependent on the 3 things you listed as well as other things. But it's simple math. Rebills rule!

Retention/ rebills. Yes that definately would make some hefty cheddar.
