The CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corp) put together a 2-part, 4 hour program about the legendary summit series of 1972. I just finished watching it this evening and had to say how well it was done and put together.

I was 6 years old when the final goal of the final game was scored, and I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing.

Did anyone else watch? I DVR'd it. :)
Now THAT was old time hockey.

The CBC's digital archives of the 72 series are worth a look for any hockey fan.

I saw a little of this last night, but didn't watch the whole thing.....

I didn't get into watching hockey until about 4 years ago.

I didn't get to watch it, I am waiting for the torrents from my brother. It happened before I was born, but I know the story being from Montreal and having a hockey fan father.

I really miss hockey from the early 80s. it doesn't seem like the same game at all any more.

I know you don't want me posting my opinion in here.
