I know there are a lot of French-Canadians here, and I was wondering something.

1) Since the Nordiques left Quebec City, do people seem to miss them, or is that just Montreal Canadien territory through and through?

2) Do their old fans love or hate the Avalanche?

I'm off to the Lightning game in a few minutes, I don't know what made those q's pop into my head.

That is a good question!
I have noticed that there are a lot of Quebecers who cheer for the Avs, and I think it's because they used to be the Nordiques.

I personally could care less. But I do miss that old rivalry between them and the Canadiens in the 80s. The Nordiques had some awesome players in their time. Goulet and Statsny just to name a couple...
