Lately, there's this nasty trend for people to suggest that because a mistake is in common use, it is somehow suddenly correct by reflection through common usage in some misguided interpretation of linguistic drift within a live language.

I was gonna make a comment about this Alanis song, LOL. Ya beat me to it. Not a hint of irony in this whole song, unless you consider the irony of a woman writing a song about irony that contains absolutely no irony.
