A few weeks ago my wife (SheDevil) and I found out that she was pregnant! This has been a big year for us from getting married last year June - first baby and today we are closing the deal on a new home.

thanks to all our friends who have been so supportive and kind to offer good sound wisdom for us during our first year together. It was very humbling for me to see the lil one's heart beating and fingers moving inside during the ultrasound - tremendous and exciting times ahead

Here are the ultrasounds from yesterday

Congrats to you both. FB and I remember our first ultrasound pictures.
We had them framed.

Congratulations!
The first set of ultrasound pictures got their own webpages and I carried them around for 2 weeks solid.

Good times. You're having a great year! WTG!

Congratulations to you and SheDevil, my Robert! http://www.porn-sex-adult-xxx.com/smilies/clapping.gif

I remember the awe with which I viewed the ultra-sound pics of my youngest. (Didn't have ultra-sound with her sister.) My husband and I got quite weepy over the whole thing.

The *real* fun with ultra-sound pics hit when she was a teenager, and Mommy Dearest whipped them out and said "wanna see a pic of her before she was born?" Grossed the poor child out totally. Cool. :xthumbs:

LOL.. yes - shedevil and I wept a bit seeing the tiny heart beating and the formation of the heart - brain and spine. A very humbling experience for me to see our future unfold.

I am writing a diary of our events so that when the kid is old enough they will see what we were like during this time - and have a digital copy of who their parents are. I hope its meaningful.

It will be very meaningful, believe me. My kids heard the stories of what their parents did and felt over and over again as they were growing up. They knew that their names were chosen the minute the pregnancy test came back positive. We used to describe the eldest as "a planned child who was born two years prematurely." :)

Recently, my daughter asked me if I'd keep that journal I've always talked about. She wants to know what my childhood was like and all the things I did and felt before she met me.

The greatest gift you can give your child is the knowledge that they were wanted.

That is so wonderful. Congratulations to you both. :baby:

And Morgan, you have a twisted sense of humor lurking beneath that sweet exteriour of yours. I knew there was a reason I liked you so much. :luv:

:luv: You guys will make such good parents! Congrats once again! I was so excited when I heard the good news in May! But this is REALLY TRULY exciting...I remember the first time I saw Ryan with the Ultrasound, I'll NEVER forget it!

PLEASE keep up posted on how the new Mom is feeling! :)

Are we looking at a boy or a girl? Or are we waiting to find out?

Congrats on the wee one. They change your whole perspective on life. When you first see their face it's a feeling like no other.

I think you guys certainly earn the award for Best Year!
I still have the sonogram pics from both my boys. I keep them in a little keepsakes box with things like binkies, blankies, shoes and other major first reminders. The time moves so fast some times...

thanx for the congrads - all I can say if you don't know the two of us that well is that if it wasn't me - then the Virgin Mary has some competition. :knight:

Shedevil told me one time that if I was going to cheat with a girl - to please bring her home so she can enjoy her. I can only assume you have never met us at any conventions or you would know that the thought of her even kissing another male would make her sick.

Outside of the obvious and details that I will not get into about our private life - you'd have to actually know us to understand that shedevil even thinking of another man is simply not in the equation... nor me for that matter.

Sometimes the twisted sense of humor lurks...and sometimes the "nice me" lurks. :)
One of the things that makes us most proud and grateful regarding our daughters is that they both inherited the humor. My husband has always been so proud when one of his girls fires back a line that "tops" him. (Me, too!) :)

My very dear Robert...you handled an awkward and frankly uncalled for comment very well. I would have expected nothing less.
