Ok..I confess!
I have seen many people type this, never heard it said in person (i dont think).
Can anyone tell me what it is slang for? Is it a Canadian thing like "Eh"?

yes that is extremely funny because whenever I read it I was pronouncing it like this:
day -ummm
so i was like wtf is that?
now daaaayyuummm makes much more sence and i have actually heard this before!!
