Ok,
Borrowing this one from John Cusak (High Fidelty)

Top 5 Songs of All Time!

You know the songs,
when you hear them, no matter what your doing,
they take you back to a certain place in time, maybe back in an Ex's arms or back when things seemed more innocent.

These are mine.. probably in order

Crowded House -- Don't Dream It's Over
Massive Attack -- Teardops on the fire
Massive Attack -- Dissolved Girl
Blu Oyster Cult -- Dont fear the reaper
Led Zepplin -- 10 years gone

That's mine...
I have so many but that's my deserted island collection!

Let's see yours!

DK... excellent thread to start brutha....

And the perfect website companion to this thread would be www.allmusic.com so you can find the songs, and download them with your favourite P2P software...

Here's five of my all time faves:

Stone Temple Pilots - Big Empty
Soul Coughing - Super Bon Bon
Steely Dan - Do it Again
The Who - Won't Get Fooled Again
Joe Cocker - High Time We Went

'course... if I put a lot of thought into this, I'd come up with 5 completely different tunes... But these come to mind right away...

The Stones - Satisfaction
Led Zep - Immigrant song
Heart - Barracuda
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
Guess Who - American Woman

I just noticed they're all oldies. Oh well, hehe.
