:geez: ok I'm not but I gained a heafty 10 pounds. I was working out like a maniac and eating healthy...Life just got too hectic and I've been slacking off. Starting off on a cleanse and back on the treadmill....Any tips to lose weight fast? I drink tons of water and stay away from junk! Damn I was doing so good!

if there are any specific trouble areas like the stomach or thigh area you can wrap thick black trash bags around that area and put on a sweat suit and run ont he treadmill. It will burn hell much outta those areas...lol

It's going to be a long cold winter and that is why you gained weight. It's the body's natural defense.

watch your carb intakes - try and keep it around 60 carbs per meal and you should do fine. Keep exercising - but do it the right way or its all wasted

I agree with pawsregd. It's most likely an adjustment of your body to the change in the weather. Keep on keepin' on!

Stay away from white flour and sugar and the weight will simply fall off of you. You won't believe how fast it comes off once you change your diet to include those parameters. It's easier said than done though.

My doctor told me the water thing is a scam. She told me to drink when I am thirsty or after a workout, but don't drink loads of water for no good reason.

Apparently the good gets flushed out with the bad when you drink too much water. I stopped drinking 2-3 litres a day, do the same activities, feel good and I have actually lost weight. Instead I have maybe 1 litre (two bottles of water) a day now.

The trick about the water is that you don't drink it all at once. Some people hear this 8 glasses of water a day and try to force it but gulping it. I tend to drink almost that much just by having it handy when I'm home. I keep a bottle on my office desk at all times. I find sipping a bottle of water is better than snacking for me. I often snack just so my body has something to do while my mind is occupied, so sipping some water works just as well. But if you are to the point that you are forcing yourself to get the water in, then yes, you are getting too much. There is such a thing as too much water. And Quagmire is right, the 8 glasses a day rule is a myth. The truth is that it's different for everybody. People who are more active need more water because they expel more.
