Anyone planning on seeing this?

Black Christmas (http://www.blackchristmas.com/)

It opens (oddly enough) on Christmas Day. I am a fan of the original. I remember watching it on late night TV when I was a kid and it scared the hell out of me.

I am not a huge movie goer, I have no plans to see this.

I'm quite curious to see it! :) First one was spooky.

The first one was a classic...I'm worried about this one because I've been following the production news closely (I'm a total movie nerd, hehe) and have been hearing a lot of bad things.

Useless trivia: one of my bands was called Black Christmas and I even wrote a song called Black Christmas that was a piss take on White Christmas

Somehow I doubt this version will measure up to the original.

it's kinda unique...a suspense horror movie in a christmas setting...Hmmm...
BUT it is just an average suspense film with teen college girls who will be trapped in their house and the psycho will start killing them...I've seen a lot movies like that...

The trailer was bad...and I don't think it's a good film..not worth my money this Christmas...:geez::geez::geez:

1974, it was one of the first slasher movies
It was directed by Bob Clark, the guy who did Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things, Porky's and A Christmas Story
