We do. I was going to remove it and put it away but then I realized that some of Ryan's shows that he likes are still on VHS. So I guess I'll leave it hooked up awhile longer.

we still have a lot of movies on VHS that get pulled out on occasion - mostly the kids movies, but they still like them from time to time. I almost pulled it out a couple months ago, but after a few tears from the kids, decided to wait until it actually dies on it's own. It just won't get replaced after that.

I transferred the content that I wanted to keep from the old vhs tapes - to DVD´s. (stuff that was not available on DVD)

Then got rid of the VCR.

Mine's been put away for the last two years .. I've kept the machine .. but mostly because alot of my old production demo reels are on VHS and I still plan on capturing them to DVD ...

Last week I converted some old DV tapes (personal and family events) to DVD for safe keeping ... It's a long process but I feel it's a nessary one .. I regret not having transfered some of the family videos off hi 8, and might be lost forever unless I can locate a Hi 8 camera or deck

I still have a VHS-C cam, and a ton of kids' shows that are on VHS. One of my VCR's just died the other day, but I won't be replacing it.

We just set up our's again because I had some tapes I wanted to watch that aren't on DVD yet. It feels like going back in time even though it really hasn't been that long.

I have to say that ever since we got our DVR machine, I can't remember using the VCR but maybe once or twice (in 2 years).

We still have a VCR hooked up, but I really don't know why. Sure, we still have movies on VHS, but it is not like we ever actually watch them anymore.
