ICQ for north american webmasters and aim followed by skype for overseas webmasters who prefer that - only use msn for personal contacts

well, i have both and aim too recently.... actually i prefer good 'ol icq versions, and as for MSN, it's cool because sometimes file transfers over ICQ no not work for some reasons. however they are both full of ads and you gotta crack 'em.. ;-)
i prefer msn. icq has to many bugs, atleast in my experience.

I use both ... I started off with ICQ for work and MSN for personal .. but since that idea has been shot out of the water .. Msn now has about 200 contacts and ICQ is in the 700s or more
I prefer ICQ mainly for the archive (history) and the fact that all Messages are time stamped... While msn doesn't offer ither of those features.

Trillian - ICQ, MSN and AIM all in one client :xthumbs:
I prefer the features of ICQ, especially off-line messages and history files, but you can't choose what somebody else might be using.

ICQ has limits, but it's what I use until another IM comes out that manages contacts and history just as well. MSN doesn't and no other IM does either to my knowledge.
I did try Trillian awhile back but I just felt like it didn't give me the same control at ICQ. I use MSN a little bit, but not for business.

I prefer ICQ because you can edit people names and there isn't a bunch of emoticons in messages like MSN.
