Leafs won't be doing much for a few more years. They need to offload Sundin. While he is a great player, he costs them too much $$ under the salary cap. They will not win a cup with him. Their best chance was back when Gilmour was on the team, and they blew it.

With that said, they actually have a young goalie for once, with other great potentials coming thru the ranks, and not some aging titan that was once great when he was in his prime. They've actually stepped up and put forth a very decent defense core. Something that's plagued them heavily the past 10+ years.

So, forget that excuse above, and get your but to TO :D
