Do you think you will die sometime?

Sometimes I think that I will never die. ::-|

It depends if they discover the secret to eternal life before I die. Or if I do something great and courageous so that I never die in the hearts of children and wifes.

It depends on what way you look at it.

We are all a form of energy.

Science has proven that energy can change form although it can't be killed!:D

Yeah, but would you rather be in the form you are now or in the form of a pile of smoking ashes?

I've accepted a long time ago that not one makes it through life without dying! It's simple reality and honestly I don't mind...As long as I get to live a full and exciting life! So far so good! :)

If you don't believe in death, how can you die?

concure... we need to sit and discuss as we pass 'em around. i was reading something today about controlling your dreams... it was lucidity (http://www.lucidity.com). reminded me of lucid dreams in vanilla sky. what if our life is really a dream and we have yet to wake up. when someone "dies" they are really just waking up.

That idea has been used and reused recently in movies. For example Vanilla Sky. But spinoffs of this as well, think Matrix, 6th Sense, Blade Runner, The Others...

The life force energy, chi, ki or prana that I am referring to is unseen although its effects are not. A bit like the wind, you can't see the wind, you can see the wind's effects and what it moves though.

This energy goes somewhere other than the pile of ashes.:D

Yeah, well, science has "proved" a lot of things that will be disprooved eventually.

And among the things that it proved in a reasonably reliable way, what most people forget is the exact context of these "proofs"
