WHAT'S THE GO WITH SEO? Part 2
Being the biggest search engine, Google would probably have more of the lowest quality searches. With "Googling" now a widespread term, performing vanity searches (searching just to see what comes up) could be a significant factor in Google's figures. The same crap searches are also performed on Yahoo, AOL, MSN and all the others, but not to the same degree in terms of raw numbers and percentage. Does that also then mean that market share outweighs search quality? Not necessarily.
Each of the different search engines produce a different level of searcher focus (demographics and "internet savvy" can play a role in this). Many of the smaller, little known search engines are used by surfers who can be quite specific in their searches. Focused searches generally produce results that are more "qualified" to their needs and wants than a "drive-by" surfer who uses generic search terms in greater numbers.
It has to be clearly understood that all keywords are not created equal. There is a science to keyword research and selection. Listings with different keywords and phrases can produce highly variable results across different engines. The quantity and quality of traffic such listings are exposed to will also differ greatly across different terms and search engines.

Finally we have a voice of reason in a position of authority. Parents need to step up and take responsibility for raising their children.
