This time of year is so painful for me...I suffer from horrible migraines and unfortunately need to inject myself with Imitrex (the shot by itself is hell!!!) Does anyone else have this problem? There's got to be a logical explanation and relief beyond a needle on my ass...lol Anyone?!?

WTF ? The change in weather does it to you ???

As systems move in and out, the pressure rises, falls then rises again. These barometric changes can trigger awful headaches.

Those barometric pressure changes may contribute to the blood vessel swelling and explain why many people report migraines with changes in both weather or altitude.

I suffer from cluster headaches, and when they come I would rather die!

I asked my doc for Imitrex, but he didn't want to give me the needles......just the pills! (what an ass)

I feel for you FB......hope you get better! :)

Ouch! That bad huh? I get migraines throughout the year. Whenever the temperature rises and falls rapidly over a short period of time, I just cease to function.

If I can catch it early enough, I can function for the day. Most times I wake up w/ it, and I'm just plain fucked.

That's terrible.
I had a friend end his own life due to a life time of severe migraines and cluster headaches that would take him down for days at a time.

Go get meds and stay cool in the dark FunB. I really hope you feel better soon!

I know how bad they can hurt. Imitrex is a gift from God. I've had migraines since I was 12 and I really have no clue how I survived my teen years without popping my eye out or blowing my head off to relieve the pain until Imitrex was finally available.

Migraines are complete hell and I wouldn't wish that amount of pain on anyone.

Is it always at this time of the year... or does it come and go? Cause' I've heard of certain foods that cause migranes and stuff.
