Hey everyone!!! Okay.. I could spend months going through every adult forum trying to figure out the best place to start.. I'd done some research and I wanted to throw this out to everyone..

I just launched my VOD site, MovieQuickie.com... Obviously, traffic is king.. So I need to get some serious traffic because I'm using such a low price point (which so far has been converting fairly well from direct traffic).

I've been advised from sources to go the TGP, MGP route.. So if this is the case, is there a basic order to do things? Here is what I have so far:

1. Generate TGPs from Videos on my site.. Host the galleries.. Direct the customer to the site after 2/3 layers.. Right?

2. Sign up for posting the galleries on websites such as thehun.net

Am I missing something? This is a bit of a different model than what everyone else is doing, I'm guessing, because i'm a VOD site.

So I'm asking you one of two things:

1. What would you recommend that I do for TGP's that I would handle myself? and

2. For my affiliate program, what would you recommend that I do to get people on board? What would entice people to use me as opposed to whats out there? I'm using Paycom's new MPA3 system for all of my affiliate tracking and payouts and I heard it adds confidence for affiliates because they don't know me. Do I need to create a ton of TGP galleries that affiliates can then use for their sites?

Your help is much appreciated..

Thanks a bunch!

Kory

Some options:
Create galleries for MGP & TGP submits.
Galleries link directly to the tour and/or join page. The tour can be a 1 page tour or have several pages before the join page.

Create hosted galleries.
These hosted galleries all link directly to the tour and/or join page. You and your affiliates can use these galleries on hubs, MGP & TGP sites, portals, blogs, splogs,...

Create freesites.
Freesites can be submitted to link lists. They are beneficial because when done properly, get indexed by the search engines.

Create blogs.
Blogs are easy to create and a good way to increase traffic and sales.

The galleries that you will use to submit to MGP and TGP sites must follow a few basic rules. Some sites add a specific rule or so, but they all follow the basic rules.

Before you buy any submit accounts or guaranteed gallery listings, make sure you have tested your galleries and they are built to sell.

To submit your galleries, use a submitter such as Advanced Submitter, Chameleon Submitter, or Dream Submitter in manual mode. A submit tool will save you a lot of time.

For the affiliate program, some suggestions:
Offer a payout % that is right in line with your competitors.

Offer affiliates content that they can use for promo.

Offer affiliates a few banners, buttons, HPA, and FPA to use.

Offer FHGs, a gallery maker tool, HFSs, RSS feed, hosted blogs. (optional)

Offer cascading billing and easy to understand stats.

Offer tours with consoles and console free tours. (optional)

Valid, easy to find contact information, clear TOS, and available, qualified support.

Offer affiliates PSDs or make available what fonts were used where for affiliates to create their own promo tools. (optional)

Some suggestions to attract affiliates:
Purchase advertising on boards, sponsor tradeshows & industry events, resource sites, in newsletters, webmaster related sites, industry publications, ...

Go to trade shows and industry events. Meet the webmasters. Hand out business cards. Let them know you exist.

Carry your site in your sig on boards. Join in discussions on boards. Don't blatantly spam the boards.

Hold a webmaster contest or offer some promo to get your name out there.

Write press releases and submit them.

Contact webmasters directly. (Give them a reason as to why they should try your program. Make deals. Contact them for link exchanges, traffic trades,...)

Hi There,

I'm also fairly newish, I got loads of traffic but no payment or subscription in place, wanna swop? :worthy:

Affiliate Promotion is definitely the way to go mate...

I got most of my traffic by linking to highly relevant blogs/forums/free video sites.

I'm in the midst of a redesign so I'd be interested in seeing your affiliate program, once you have sorted it out...

Good Luck and Welcome to this excellent Forum, :ban3:

Magic.
