I hooked up with some of my highschool buddies last night .. They found me on Face book (why'd I ever join that site I don't know) ...

Anyhow we hooked up at Stogies down town, I got there early (unusual for me, I know) .. Well wouldn't you know as they came in one at a time they all called me Vid !!!!!!!

Turns out they are all big fans of the show and never miss an episode.

Grew up in lil town in the ozarks (I know, big surprise there)... let's just say that all our stop signs said 'Whoa' and some of my college classes had more students than my graduating class (89 in 89)... lol

Back in '99 we had our 10yr HS reunion and several folks came up and asked me if I was 'really' doing "that"... After I declared it was open bar for rest of the night nobody seemed to have a problem with my profession... lol

Can't wait for the 20th to do a headcount of how many joined up and paid for those drinks 10x over... lmao...

Well since I lived in the USA as a child it's been hard to keep contact with everyone. My close friends from college know what I do. I actually brought a couple of my Girlfriends to an industry party last summer....We had a BLAST! :laughout:

I'm not in touch with many childhood friends, or even high school friends but I am in touch with several army buds of course, and they all know what I do for a living. I don't hide it from anyone, but I don't advertise it either.

The neighbours know (I think), and nobody seems to care since we're a very normal family anyway.

Im only in touch with a few - and they all know exactly what I do for a living. My dad prefers to tone it down being as religious as he is - I dont mind, I really have nothing to be ashamed of. If someone can't handle it then they werent really friends to begin with.

Most do, none really seem to care....although one has turned total jesus freak and the one I'd thought would be most judgmental, but she was actually non-judgmental and basically said "doesn't surprise me at all"

The same thing has kinda happened to me too. I'm from a pretty small town in Nebraska so once one of my high school classmates found our site, the news spread around pretty quick.

I don't see anyone anymore. Most of my friends today know what I do and no one has a problem with it.

Of course, I only have two people in my life I consider REAL friends... Angélique (from www.angeliquexxx.com (http://www.angeliquexxx.com)) and Nicolas who gets a kick out of the fact that I do porn photography...

Childhood friends? Hmm.. Some go back to when I was 15, but I've lost touch to anyone I knew younger than that that wasn't family.

i guess it's a bit different for my line of work ... however most of my "Older" friends say they aren't surprised that I ended up as a pornographer .. I've always been the one "out side the box" so to speak

All my friends no what I do, I've always been the overtly sexual & perverted one who got all the girls growing up. So it was expected. No one particularly cares, thought I do get the morality talks from time to time from old friends that heard what I do but I don't really talk to anymore. They for some reason feel the need to "educate" me on how sinful I am ...

I've quickly learned that at times it can be annoying when you're trying to have a normal conversation & all they wanna do is ask questions, it's fine at first but after a while it starts to get frustrating. But at the same time I love the attention.

Yes, but make sure you get it on video though!

My friends all know I am getting into the biz, and all they ask is "are you making a lot of money yet?" I tell them no, mostly because I DON'T KNOW HOW. I guess I'll learn eventually.

I try to avoid people from my childhood like the plague. They hated me then and I'm pretty sure they would hate me now as well. LOL

I've lost touch with many school friends throughout the years. Most that are close to me, know what I do. I'm not the least bit ashamed of what I do. If I wanted to hide it all, I'd be hiding behind my nick 'C-Money' and duck JFK at every convention like some others in the biz do.

Generally with acquaintances, former co-workers and friends of friends, I just play the 'Internet Marketing' card when they ask what I do. If they find out somewhere along the lines, no big deal to me.

I am not in touch with many of my childhood friends, though facebook has brought a few long ago faces into my world again... I have not told them what I do to the full extent.

The ones I knew all along, well they allknow, some even share industries...

The earliest friends of mine are from college. My high school friends all realized towards the end of our senior year that we didn't really like each other all that much and the only reason we hung out was out of necessity. I kept in touch with one girl for a few years but even then we grew apart. I still have some friends from college but we've kept in touch over the years and I'd worked in porn before so none of them were surprised. Actually, the years I worked in a hotel and a customer service call center they were all surprised that I was not working in porn. :laughout:

Thanks so Myspace I've been in touch with nearly everyone I knew in high school - including a few I didn't really remember. None of them seemed overly shocked when they discovered I worked in the adult industry.
