Back in early 1998. I can't mention the name of the company or the owner but it was a fucking crazy place. They ran online casinos, 28 adult sites with 1000's of domains used for promotion, hosting services, merchant services, ran sportsbooks, you name it... talk about an introduction into the business. I'm suprised I survived that place.

My first dab into the online adult world, would have been quite a few years ago when I was running an non-nude TGP with some friends. One of them also ran an ezine site, rushmagazine.com, which he eventually sold the name to a print magazine with the same name, and stared up chasermag.com.

Eventually, we all just kind of got on with our career lives, and he sold off Chaser to some aspiring young keyboard warrior.

Now, after being in the online gambling world for about 5 years, I'm back in adult as an affiliate manager ;)

the very first time I did anything in adult, was quite awhile ago. I think 1998. I was a technician for a broadcast equipement rental house. I had received a page at 1 am, from a client that had rented 2 Bateacams, monitors and lights. The message was that there was a problem with the lights. I showed up at the hotel where said client was shooting (not unusual since this ws junket week and most interviews were in hotels). I walk in and see a couple of naked chicks, and about 4 naked guys stroking they're meat. I was surprise to say the least. the actual repair took about 5 min, I was invited to stay and watch... and after the first cut, they had asked me what I thought, well wouldn't you know it, I took over the set. By the next morning the client had booked me to shoot 14 scenes for him ....

Well, I'm from "before."
So, my VERY first job in "adult" was peddling 8MM films to friends.
My first "Real" Job was owning a chain of video stores, that all had a "back room" where the real money was made. Then an adult BBS, then an adult website, then the development of the Virtual Sex Machine.
And, all these years later, here we are!
And don't I still look good?

I was lucky. I got to work with Robert Payne, former head of the Ontario Film Review Board. He made it 'legal' for us to do adult business in Ontario.

We produced Smutland in 1996, I was the (gag) censor and then moved into doing content development by producing SeeMeLive, North America's 1st live adult video Chat.

Oh yeah. Big fun. Until Python came along and did Tit Talk with a bigger video image.

I'm so glad we still work with them!

Well mine was building galleries for Carol Cox back in 1996 or so and things just moved very quickly from there.

I have always been a photographer. I started with Angeliquexxx.com. I'm actually "responsible" for her starting a website and getting into the business. Since then, I have shot many many people... Mostly amateurs, but a few "real" porn stars.

In '96 Anna and her girlfriend had me make them a website, it was going to be for surfer reqeusted custom videos only. They were both sandy blonde haird girls, and every request we got was something we couldn't do... lol(because we had only two girls that almost looked like each other) So we scraped the idea, and kinda forgot about adult until '99 when we opened our own personal site just showing our swinger lifestyle...

I'm still very new to the biz... Just about 2 years ago (or almost 2 years) I started working for Jeff Miller over at Sexstuffsells... I was the secretary pretty much, and I did some photoshop work for him for RealPeachez... :) Then when he moved to Austin, he referred me to Silvercash. I've been working as an Affiliate Manager ever since and I love it! :)

My first job in adult was back in the early 90's where I was the second shift clerk for a local porn shop. It was a lot of fun since I didn't have to do any of the jizz mopping. We usually just sat back and made fun of the people who came into the store. Especially the closet gay boys who would refuse to by tokens for the arcade (a rule in our store). They would wonder around the store for about an hour jangling their loose change in their pockets and as soon as you had your attention else where, off into the arcade they would go. I wonder if that made us bad people? I also ended up spending a lot of time talking to customers about various problems they had in the bedroom, trying to help them out.
After that job I was hooked on working adult. It wasn't long after that I started my first online adult job working for Adult Designz as a designer.

Well, I'm a bit concerned with the "making fun of the people that came in." Yes, I think it made you bad people at the time. But it appears as if you came around after the "giggle factor" wore off.

Tis sad but true... I was so not a nice person back then... my only defense was I was really young when I got that job. If put in the same position I would be a touch more respectful to the patrons. Live and learn...
