Has anyone submitted to "The HUN"? I submitted about a month ago with no luck, then resubmitted again the other day (same page as before) and it was accepted, so now it is going to be posted in the next few days. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with them? I know they are huge and get like a trillion hits per year.

Also, I need more MORE MORE content for my site if I am getting traffic soon. What is the average # of galleries/photo sets and videos you have on your site? I think I really need to spend some cash and start picking up more stuff, before I go out and find a few girls who'll "pose" for me.

I need regular girl/girl or girl/boy porn, plus any hardcore BDSM if anyone knows a good place. I use Matrix content for most of it, not too expensive but I am sure it is all pretty much used a lot. I know Casanova has the hook up, but it is a little out of my price range, with my impending move and all. I gues I've decided to keep my site and just promote it once more content is up.

Perfect, thanks. I just need filler for a while before I can get some capital to pay some models.

I've had numerous hun listings in past years. From experience I can tell you...

1. He's going to burn your bandwidth. Upwards of 200k uniques (or more) to your gallery for a few days, then it tapers off fast.

2. Leave your gallery up, do not change it in any way, and it might later get listed in the hun's overflow, where you will get some lower amounts of traffic for quite a while longer.

3. That's pretty much it. Just sit back and enjoy the traffic. Hopefully you make some sales. Learn from the experience for next time.

Ok, now, something wierd just happened today. I came home to find my account suspended through my hosting company. I called my hot, and they said I exceeded my transfer limit. I was then told I received 10 weeks worth of data transfer in ONE DAY. I looked on the Hun but I am not posted. I had submitted to another place a while back, but never got any word. Is this normal? No members yet, but I can be patient. I need to get more content though, why am I so lazy?

Ok, I think I screwed this up. How big should the images be on a TGP? The thumbs are small, but the images that pop up once you click on the tn are about 250-400k. Too big huh? I guess I need to sit down and redo the images and reload them to my FTP. I knocked everyone down through my host, not just my site.

Doh!

Wait, that doesn't make sense. The images aren't THAT big.

Yes they are. Compres them down using Save Optimized As in Photoshop and set it at about a 5 - if they still look good they should be down to under 100k each dpending on size.

You can have them way under 100K even and still have them look good.
This can be a costly mistake for a free submit.

Yeah, I got 50K hits in one hour. I am making a new gallery and will fix this, thanks. It's strange, I wasn't expecting that. I guess I learned my lesson.

The only failures in business are when mistakes are repeated.

Does that look better? Smaller pics (average 100Kb), not as many too.

Your preview thumbs are the same images as your "large" images, all you did is reduce them in HTML. You have 12 thumbs that avg 100K each, not only will you get will your hosting bill to go through the roof but your page loads ass slow.

You need to reduce the tumbs actual size like this

yours: http://www.painful-ecstasy.com/tgp/sarah_tgp/009006_001.jpg

mine: http://www.tastyporn.com/thumb-009006_001.jpg only 33K

Hope this helps

I used to submit to the huns 2 years ago when I was pushing my adultbouncer AVS, 1 lising was 1-4 signups usually. It was general hardcore/teen content. I heard from other people that niche content can bring amazing signup. Cumshot/BDSM

I have another question. As far as membership fees, my site is pretty inexpensive. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of thing attracting members? I see a lot of site doing $20 and up per month, some even $30 and up. Mine is set at $10.95 per month, $5 for 7 days, $28 for 3 months and $69 for the year. Should I ask more, or does it matter? I have a day job, so this is extra.

Thanks,
Brett
