Getting Deployed to Iraq in a week or two. Wish me luck.

My website registration runs out next month too, not sure if I'll renew it or not. Kinda not working for me for some reason. I tried SexKey, but they're too strict and I need to give access to EVERYONE as far as they're concerned. :fryingpan:

I can't make a dime doing this, and I'm not sure why. I have pretty bad luck I guess. Oh well, gotta practice dodging mortars, see ya!

Thank you, I appreciate it. I'm a little scared, I haven't deployed in over 5 years. I came home last time 8 days before the war started.

I always worry so much for friends when they get deployed. May your stay be short, may you be watched over by friends and from above and may you return safely to us, painful.

YAY! They cancelled the deployment! Thank God, I hate Iraq! The extra money would've been nice though. Thanks for all your kind words everyone. Now I need to go tend to the ulcer I got from this bullshit. Lemme tell you, the US Secretary of Defense is a jerkoff.

BTW, Elli, your avatar is HOT! Is that you?

Well, my boss is a jerk-off too, but the results of that are not so serious. Glad to hear you'll be safe:)

Made my breath catch even though I don't really know you. So far every one I know who's been deployed to Iraq that came back is NOT the same. I'm glad to hear you aren't being deployed after all!!

i'm Canadian....military is not an option

I was thinking about becoming Canadian for a while, I was offered a basement for a few years, but I'd miss my wife and kids too much.

I don't do the whole front line stuff, I woulda been safe on a base, they don't let people with my kind of job get in a situation to be captured, it would hurt the military pretty bad. It actually would've been ok, work 12 hours a day, go to the gym and sleep. I would've come home ripped, and my wife would've loved it (not that I don't look good now).

I hate being away from the family, and I hear Iraq has a lingering stench of oppression, and it's pretty hard to clean that off your skin.
