Any other musicians here on Xnations or is the stereo the only thing you play? I've just recently gotten back into playing. I used to have a MIDI home studio about a decade ago and sold off all the gear except a Proteus rackmount that is now the slave to a Kawai 88 key with weighted action. Learnt a few Radiohead songs already. Will definately be learning the Floyd classics, but rigt now I'm trying to play Sonata No. 14 in C# Minor Op. 27, No. 2 also known as "Moonlight Sonata" its fucking wicked. No intentions of studio or joining a band just escaping into musical bliss while jamming for myself.

I prefer the skin sax. Bigger, and all you have to do is blow. bwahahaha

I've been playing guitar since I was 10, and used to be real good. In fact, I'm surprised that's not what I'm doing for a living. I used to rank well in those guitar competitions of the 90's. Of course, I also practiced about 10 hours a day back then.

Now, I rarely practice, so I'm nowhere near as good as I used to be.

I'm actually a singer/songwriter/musician. I used to play in a few bands back in Pittsburgh. I'd like to get into a band again. Working on a demo of some new songs on my really small home studio. I also freelance on the side by composing music for softcore porn. I've done about 6 movies put out by Siniser Cinema. If you happen to catch Vampire Obsession or The Witches of Sappho Salon, that's me. And they're releasing The Naughty Experiments of Dr. Jeckyll And Mistress Hyde with a soundtrack CD! Who knew I was multi-talented!!! LOL! :)

btw, I didn't think this would be considered spam since it's not webmaster stuff. I hope nobody minds.

Yeppers I was in a band for 6 years.. I play drums and played Bass mostly in the band... I write and compose and have worked on the business end of the industry manager and tour manager on US tours.

My style is a Flea from Chili Peppers meets Sly and the Family Stone meets 70 funk... I used to say my Bass is 2 feet off the ground and fat enough to knock the crowd over.

I'll be helping to promote one of Canada'a newest up and commers "Jet Stream" it's gonna kick ass.. they just got out of the studio last week.,..now the real fun begins.

a couple of years ago I had my own studio.

I had my samplers, synthezisers, old analogue synths, FX boxes for delays and all kinds of FX, keyboards, rackmounted and blablabla..

basically everything I earned I put into that studio.

Was great. released a small EP for a german house label.

Then I met my Ex girlfriend..

:bonk:

But I still love that.. When I get time on my hands again, IŽll definitely start it all again.

just too fun not to do it all again. :D

I used to be in a band... stopped playing when my first kid was born, too hectic trying to be a dad while giging every weekend..

I play guitar, bass, keys and drums, ... and although I have sang on my own demos, I wouldn't advise anyone letting me sing ever again.

Music production is a new hobby for me... been enjoying it quite a lot.

Hey VisualAd, do you like psytrance?

Take care,
