I've had my Chocolate LG since the Webmaster access show in Toronto last year .. And G-d I HATE THIS PHONE!!

I've returned it 5 times since January 08 ... Finally got fed up with my provider basicly telling me that my only option was to go spend another 400$ on a phone .. The plan was to get the Iclone .. Hee hee ..err I mean Iphone ..
the new G3 is out july 11th on Fido network (CDN) but will sell for 600$ or 200 -300 with a new activation .. not a great deal .. Plus an extra 40$ a month for the cheapest upgrade services.

After Bitchin at fido for a few hours they finally agreed to exchange my phone for a smartphone plus 15 a month for upgrade services.

I got the Samsung Jack phone. So far I've been having fun playing with it . and learn all the functions ... Does anyone else have a smart phone? and what can I do to really make this phone a whole new Wireless experience .. I want to get the most out of owning this phone and this new technology

anyone ?

Havent really looked into it - can you use it worldwide? And have you gone into a bathroom stall on the 14th floor of an office tower and trying to call someone? If it works.. then keep it

I have an HTC 6800 and I love it. The keyboard turned out to be useless though. I prefer using the little pen... But I love it. It's great.

I have a Verizon Voyager and I love it..... But basically I use it for phone calls, text messages, and to check email when I'm away from my computer for a long time....

I previously tried Nokia smartphones: 6600 and Communicator series. They suck big time because they are slow. Iphone seems to be working quite fast from my personal experience. I'd go with it once it hits the stores.

I'm on my 3rd Black Berry, WHY? because I buy a new version when ever they come out, I love them, best device on the planet. It worked everywhere I have travelled from Costa Rica, Curacau to Europe. The email is top notch, I have 4 different email accounts that hit my BB, I can peer to peer txt for FREE with other Black Berry users anywhere on the planet.

My current phone is the 8800:

and in two months I'll be getting the new 3G, WIFI enabled BlackBerry Bold:

I'm not a kewl kid so the Iphone does'nt interest me, nor will it stack up.

I just have a normal phone, motorola razr mk whatever. I'd love to get a blackberry. What do average plans cost for those to have internet/email access?

You would pay a heck of a lot less than me for Phone/Data, not sure which provider in the US handles the BB but I know you guys have a flat rate all you can eat data plan. I have to pay and bundle mine, my bills average about $130-200 a month, most of my bill is data (I DL clips and use my google maps alot) and txt, talk time LOL what is that??

I have one huge caveat mate when it comes to high end phones

US Customs "WILL" download all your stuff off your phone/PDA, so if you sync your shit like most corporate dicks do then you will give the Yanks a 100% window into your world

windows go both ways (hint hint)

Whats up mate ! hope to see you soon !

no worries there ..I delete all my emails as i read them off the phone .. basicly Ièm using the note pad and calender to stay orginised ... and check my emails daily .. this allows me to be away from my pc and answers urgent emails while on the road ...

I also have the Blackberry Curve and I love it! Don't leave home without it. I was in the middle of nowhere this weekend and I was able to email and surf as much as I wanted. The Qwerty "keypad" is awesome and I can type quite fast. Now if they only made it in pink...lol :laughout:
