Out here in California the wildfires, mudslides, economic crisis is showing up and it's scary.

Middle class and upper middle class people out on the street giving away their pets because they can't afford them anymore. Totally freaked me out.

I know some of you frequent Iceland and that place is going bonkers.

In this biz getting alternative sources of income so you don't have all your eggs in one basket is essential.

How're things in your neck of the woods?

I live in Northern California. We don't have wildfires, mudslides, or earthquakes. Come to think of it, we don't have traffic or smog either.

My neighborhood has been hit hard by this housing crap, mostly because my neighborhood is brand new - and a lot of people had crappy loans. I have forty houses on my street, and last time I counted 15 of them were empty.

Property taxes here are about to triple and scaring alot of people.

Gas is down but grocery prices haven't changed - what's up with that?

Craigslist is the new marketplace - people are really bargain hunting on it and it's tough to get asking price for anything you list.

Businesses are closing down and I see more empty buildings than a year ago.

People are more on time and appreciative of their jobs!
