What do you think of the new James Bond?

Personally I think he's the best since the days of Connery and Moore.

He makes Pierce Brosnan look like a girly man. Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace have been the best Bond movies I have seen in years, maybe of all time.

What do you think of the new style of 007 films?

I actually like the dude and think he's a good selection. At first I was hesitant, but overall he has edge going for him. Just hope they start moving away from the current course of vengeance etc. and get into more stories of some steely mouth dude trying to take over the world from a space station that has a hot tub in it with Thumper and Bambie waiting in the bubbles... but.. I digress

I heard the new movie is directed off - more like a BOURNE movie than the prior movies. The fast action scenes too choppy just give me a headache. I like him as 007, I'll check out the new film when it comes out on DVD

As for me Daniel Craig as James Bond is awful. He does nothing but fighting, killing, running... Not even fucking :)

I personally prefer Pierce Brosnan who in my opinion IS James Bond.
I was sceptical of Daniel Craig at first, but his performance won me over in Casino Royale.
Solida actor but Pierce Brosnan will always be "Bond" to me. :)

Daniel Craig is by far the best Bond if you want to compare it to how the character is supposed to be played (00x agent). That being said, he lucked out with good writers for the recent movies.

I'm a Connery fan, though I must admit Moore brought some humour to the part.

Daniel Craig = James Bond sign of the times, all James Bond movies are in tune with the decade they are filmed.

My thoughts on Quantum and James Bond:
- Enough with the Street Parkour scenes.. large leaps and jumps from buildings to building, it was amazing in Casino Royal but enough already.
- James Bond has to say his name, last name first, first name last, you just have to. (Absent in this movie)
- Gadgets goddammit!!!! When you show up at head quarters you need gadgets, the new Aston Martin is not a gadget, it was a commercial. (Again absent)
- No American chicks, they should always have hot hot hot eastern Euro/british Bond girls and he should bag at least 2 per movie.
