I had to post this one, it's to funny and it's true, read this :

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The cafeteria menus in the three House office buildings changed the name of "french fries" to "freedom fries," in a culinary rebuke of France stemming from anger over the country's refusal to support the U.S. position on Iraq.

I don't think this need any comment from my part!

And...
Never underestimate the power of stupid people, once they're together ;-)

Don't get me started.
Okay, I'll play my binational trump:

French comment: Les frites de la liberté? Quelle bande d'enfoirés!
American comment: Do you guys realize how fuckin' stupid this all is?

Here`s a better link for the story: http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/03/11/freedom.fries/index.html

What a bunch of small-minded shitheads! Next thing you know they will change the name of Belgian waffles because they are next door to France. That is quite possibly the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. If you live on a street called LaSalle or something like that you might be living on Freedom Street soon.
