Female ejaculation

Main article: Female ejaculation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Female_ejaculation)
Some believe that the Skene's glands are the source of female ejaculation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Female_ejaculation).[3] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skene%27s_gland#cite_note-2) In 2002, Emanuele Jannini (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Emanuele_Jannini&action=edit&redlink=1) of L'Aquila University (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%27Aquila_University) in Italy showed that there may be an explanation both for the phenomenon and for the frequent denials of its existence. Skene's glands have highly variable anatomy, and in some extreme cases they appear to be missing entirely. If Skene's glands are the cause of female ejaculation and G-spot (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G-spot)-orgasms, this may explain the observed absence of these phenomena in many women.[citation needed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)] [4] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skene%27s_gland#cite_note-3)[5] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skene%27s_gland#cite_note-4)
It has been demonstrated that a large amount of lubricating fluid (filtered blood plasma) can be secreted from this gland when stimulated from inside the vagina.[citation needed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)]

Female prostate

The fluid that emerges during female ejaculation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Female_ejaculation) has a composition similar to the fluid generated in males by the prostate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prostate) gland,[6] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skene%27s_gland#cite_note-5) containing biochemical markers of sexual function like human protein (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protein) 1[7] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skene%27s_gland#cite_note-6) and the enzyme PDE5 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CGMP_specific_phosphodiesterase_type_5). When examined with electron microscopy, both glands show similar secretory structures,[8] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skene%27s_gland#cite_note-7) and both act similarly in terms of prostate-specific antigen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antigen) and prostate-specific acid phosphatase (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acid_phosphatase) studies.[9] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skene%27s_gland#cite_note-8)[10] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skene%27s_gland#cite_note-9)[11] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skene%27s_gland#cite_note-10)[12] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skene%27s_gland#cite_note-11) Because they are increasingly perceived as merely different versions of the same gland, some researchers are moving away from the name Skene's gland and referring to it instead as the female prostate.[13] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skene%27s_gland#cite_note-12)

Sexual Response

Some women have reported that massaging the area around the urethra, particularily the Skene's gland, results in a pleasurable sensation and even orgasm (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orgasm). This has resulted in the the Skene's gland being referred to as the "U-spot" by some.

Heres a pic of the whole area:

I could make a contribution to Wikipedia.
Just because it's there, doesn't make it fact or give it credibility.
