I've always known about the band neurosis but I only recently came across this video. I know a lot here just aren't into this sort of music but I know a lot who are too. :)
This performance is pretty awesome. They feel the performance so deep which is why it comes off so awesome.

Who likes it?
Who hates it?

I like it a lot and the strange thing is I like Luciano Pavarotti too and just about any kind of music out there.

I bet Donmike will like this. :)

Honestly it doesn't do much for me. Reminds me a lot of Meshuggah (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4A_tSyJBsRQ).

I like classical and I like death metal bands that capture that epic vibe, like Dimmu Borgir and Nile. Try wrapping your head around this:

I used to see these boys back in the day for a $2.00 cover . . . loved the early stuff that really rocked.

i can appreciate the passion they have for their music but not for me. i'm a metal head and grew up on maiden, slayer, priest, metallica, etc but death metal is too much screaming and it depresses me.

SLAYER is my all-time favorite band...
the only thing better than SLAYER would be...um...more SLAYER

That was definitely interesting, I've never heard anything like that song before.
Thanks for the intro I'll be checking out more their songs for sure.

If you like epic type stuff you might like Bathory. Not everything is great but I dig this song alot. Lots of viking culture.

I can understand that for sure. Take a band like Black Sabbath(with Ozzy) or Led Zepplin
There's probably not one song from those two bands that I don't like.

Those Bathory guys have a very interesting take on metal. I'm gonna have to check out more of their stuff when I get home from work so I can listen to it on something other than headphones=)

I went on tour with Slayer, Biohazard and Machine Head in the early 90's. One of the best experiences of my life. If I can find some pics I'll post 'em.

I would say "Wish I was there" but in the early nineties I was in junior high still=(

Didn't know Machine Head had been around so long.
