Unemployment is up to 8.5%, the highest since 1983. :geez:

We need a new revolution like we had in the late 90's with the Internet.

hmmmm....legalized marijuana and prostitution?

The snack food and condom industries would see a resurgence :)

those numbers are staggering. kind of hard to wrap my head around 600 000 people out of work, for March alone. sad.

I do see this as an opportunity for our country to make some good positive changes. I hope that we choose the positive long term solutions over the quick fixes that only kick the problems down the road. I think energy jobs could be the solution. Solar power, hydrogen, whatever else. Plus it would mean cheaper energy in the long run....and right now our energy costs are way too high.

Maybe we should build a new railroad across the country. High speed rail could profoundly change our country. It would lower the price of travel and reduce pollution...make it easier to work someplace that is far and create a more dynamic country. What do you guys think? The job creation would be enourmous

More job loss means more stress which in many cases can lead to more crime, civil wars etc... rather disturbing if you ask me.

The Japanese have had remarkable success with high speed rail transit. I don't see why we couldn't do the same, at least in densely populated areas like the Atlantic coast between Virginia and Massachusetts

job losses are everywhere.

I am in Asia and I feel the heat.

trying to break into more mainstream work to get more income stabilised.

Adult signups are affected by the economy.

although its true that there will be some opportunity for innovation here, i'm with you. some people hit hard times and sometimes they just can't get back on their feet.

A disturbing truth that someone's going to figure out soon enough: we're all richer if suddenly there are fewer of us.

i think with this economy on the downturn, more and more are turning to porn as using free blogs to promote does not cost anything
