Don't laugh. At the close of WWII Germany was bringing jet engines online into their aircraft. If they pulled it off, the end of result might have been very different. And we'd all be speaking German right now.

Actually they did pull off the stealth fighter, problem is the Horten brothers who designed the German Horten 2-29 walked to the USA
