This movie is coming out in early July.
I think it's one I will definitely go see. Seen the trailer for it?
Looks great! http://pirates.movies.com/

Yeah, it's oriented for kids (of all ages I guess)... But it's been awhile since I saw a good pirate movie.

I've seen all three versions of "Mutiny on the Bounty". I liked all of them, but the 1935 version with Charles Laughton and Clark Gable was probably my favourite.

Now can someone explain why in that poster, Johnny Depp is the only one with eye shadow?

He is probably the only guy in the movie who doesnt have a complex about possibly coming across gay....

OMG, Pirates of the Caribbean is one of my favorite rides at Disneyland. The other is the Haunted Mansion, and that movie is coming out later this year. I'm a big Disney freak and I go to the park at least once a month! Any other X-nationers big Disney fans or am I alone in this?

looks great... Orlando Bloom is cool... my GF calls him "mister awesome" from Lord of the Rings... he plays a good elf.

There are way to many good movies coming out this year!!!! I'm gonna be broke by the end of December.

I haven't been to either one.

We have a very small amusement park here in Montreal. There are almost no interesting rides. A few cool rollercoasters, and that's it.

Why do people in historical American movies always look so clean and photogenic? That bothers me quite a lot! I think Europeans are the best for historical movies (except "Le pacte des loups", which was quite clean as well).

Is that Canada's Wonderland? I went to that place when I was a kid but I don't remember what part of Canada it was. I don't remember much about it other than they had a kid's section with Yogi Bear everywhere.

Yes, Evil Chris, Disneyland is in Anaheim, which is only about 30 to 40 minutes away from LA (depending on traffic). I have an annual pass and can go anytime I want. It's great. I'll pop over on a Friday night just for dinner and a ride. I've recently found a bunch of new friends who all have annual passes, so I don't have to go alone. Very cool.

Nope, in Montréal it's called La Ronde.

I went when I was in high-school... around 1980 I think. I haven't been back since, though I hear it's much bigger now. But I guess since we have a son now, I will be going again in the next few years. :D

You know, I've been so busy lately I honestly don't know if I ever congratulated you! So CONGRATS to both of you!!! How wonderful.

And the fact that you are already planning to take your son to fun places when he gets older is soooo cool. You guys are awesome parents.

BTW, you're bringing back many fond childhood memories. I can't even imagine how big Wonderland is now. Must be nice. I remember going to Ontario Place too. And my parents, who are very Catholic, used to take us to St. Anne's Cathedrial and try to convice us it was sort of like Disneyland. And you people wonder why I'm so twisted. :bonk:

I'll go! I freakin' luv rollercoasters / thrill rides / amusement parks!!! I've never been to DisneyLand in California. Florida is kewl and so is Busch Gardens in Virginia. Hershey Park / Chocolate World is close to here, so amusement parks have been a part of my life since I was a little kid.

Now to get back to the original topic of this thread... The movie looks kewl! So many new, awsome movies coming out, so little time. <img src="http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/r/grins.gif" width="15" height="15">
