Its been a truly mind wrenching experience these past few weeks, I have left my relationship of 11 years, dont get me wrong, hes a good man in his own way but just not for me, Im to much of a free spirit and life was slowly fading away for me, I had nothing to smile about anymore on the home front, the only time I smiled was when I was reading and laughing to some of the great posts on this board or my horses.
The day before i left(which was sunday last week) I sold CC to a 5yr old boy by the name of Dominique. On monday of last week he had to have his 37 yr old pony Dusty put to sleep, and he was just devasted, his mom asked him not to go outside till they could bury dusty so he could put his little memorial up that he made for him. Well we all know with little kids you tell them not to do something and well they do it, well she found him outside with dusty, crying, after that day he refused to go out to the barn, didnt want anything to do with the other horses that were still there, even stopped being his chattery joyful self.
So I invited Jane and Dom to come out just to see the ponies I have and to see if maybe we could make a smile come on his face, so I caught CC, (who I knew was a little kids pony before I had her) and put her lead rope on, passed the lead rope to dom and my daughter walked savannah while dom walked cc. She dropped her head to his level, matched him step for step and not once did she stray from his side. It was an instant bond and Jane asked me how much I wanted for CC, I got a great price for her and the funny thing about this whole thing is that I outbid Jane last summer at the auction, I truly felt that CC was meant to be with Dominique.
Ill be hauling CC up to Dom's place tonight to allow Dom to watch her foal out, once baby and mom are old enough to come back for the 3 months before weaning, then CC will go to her new home with that wonderful little boy.
Now I need to get my life back in order and to try and replace everything that I had to leave behind.
I wont be posting anymore new images for awhile till I can find me a reasonable photographer.
Im having a battle as it is getting my content outta the other half as he seems to think that all the images he took, he has the copywrites to and not me even tho I havent signed any releases for the stuff, hes telling me that Hes the one who has to sign the stuff off for me to be able to use them
Im at a loss on this one so if anyone can help me out with that Id greatly appreciate it.

Erica .. I'm sorry about your lost relationship .. but glad that you decided to take a stand for your happyness ..

on the legal front he has no rights to those pics, Since you haven't signed a release .. you're image is always yours till you sign it off .. hense a release form ...

My suggestion would be to share the pictures .. there isn't much he can do with them .. especially since he hasn't done anything to date ( this would be the easiest and cheapest thing to do, a verbal or written understanding of sharing the images for a one time use on his end) .. or get a lawyer and sue his ass ... the only rights he has to those pics are a monerary value ... Offer him a few bucks for his work as a photographer and then take your pics back .. other then that he is in violation of Canadian privacy laws and 2257 in the US ...

he doesn't have a leg to stand on

... I can't blaim it on a breakup. Damn! Really, if someone made my movie, they'd call it "9 and 1/2 Minutes"... in other words high-viscocity meltdown in da sack... woops.

Better to love and lose, than to have loved at all, right?

Storm clouds will turn to sunshine, again (cheese, I know). Ok, pick you're own damn analogy then... I'm just trying to help ~ Jesus!

You're testy... Don't come to me for a rebound!!! Just kiddin'

Keep smiling ~ ;)

HUGS!

Welcum back to XNations! <img src="http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/a/bye.gif" width="25" height="15">

It sucks going through what you are now experiencing. One thing for sure is, the XNations family will always be here for you.

When things calm down, treat yourself to something nice. Doesn't have to be expensive. Just something that puts a smile on your face that is something you wouldn't normally do. Or something you used to do that has become long forgotten. <img src="http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/9/biggthum.gif" width="33" height="15">
