True, European companies want to make some money too. A low USD is bad for both. Unfortunately I don't expect it to rise any time soon.

We need a stronger USD and a weaker CHF.... three years ago USD 1.- was CHF 1.75 and now it's like 1.30

The media is always talking about how great it is that our dollar keeps rising.

About a month ago, they finally showed the OTHER SIDE of the story.

They showed a trucking company who transports to the US and the fact that they were losing about a million dollars a week compared to seven months ago, based solely on the exchange rate.

Thankfully(?) I'm not losing THAT much money.

I don't think a lot of webmasters that are not "Registered Companies" even claim their income, or that they receive income in American money;)

Enjoy your apples!!

Are you kidding me? My god. If that's true, there's alot of stupid people out there.

Maybe if I only made a couple of thousand dollars a year I'd risk it, but there's no damn way I'm gonna let Revenue Canada get a hold of my ass.

I just came back from vacation in the UK/Italy and I agree with you wholeheartedly. For US tourists, the current exchange rate blows....hard.

You think the bulk of Canadian webmasters who's sole income is based on promoting sponsors are all registered as sole proprietors, limited liable numbered companies (like me) or fully incorporated..??

He heh not bloody likely.

don't play dumb doctor hockey.

US goods become cheaper over seas (or over the boarder) so they are easier to sell thus spurring economic growth.
