The adult industry, along with real estate, and mortgage financing are some of the hot, high paying industries that illustrate the fact that a college education does not necessarily translate to high income.

What are your thoughts?

I would say there is a strong positive correlation between education and income but education is not the only thing. Each human being is different, has different talents...

E.g. there are thousands of high intelligent computer wizzards that can do amazing things however they don't have any visions on how to make that to money...
On the other hand there are those that don't really know much about everything works but make a fortune with computers....
I'd generally say you will have a lot of better chances making good money with a good eductation BUT you must WANT to do something for it. You must take initiative!

I agree. Education & skills will only get you so far. It's up to the individual person to apply their education, experience, and skills to achieve the goals they set for themselves.

The kewl thing about the Internet is that it has opened an equal playing field. The Internet does not care your age, race, gender, location, or social status.

The Internet, just like college and trade schools, is simply just a tool to aide you in achieving whatever it is a person chooses to do with their life. It still is up to the individual to apply themselves.

It's all about being able to think on different levels and being able to analyze situations and problems from different angles. And that is what alot of education provides practice for.

Here's the best quote for this post:

"Formal education will make you a living; self education will make you a fortune."
