I sometimes wonder if I'm the only one to be very interested in serial killers and true crime stories. When people visit my home for the first (If they don't know me very well) time they always seem shocked by the books in my bookshelf. I must of read just about everything on people like Jeffrey Dhamer, Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy and especially Paul Bernardo & Karla Homolka (Based in Ontario). I can't understand what makes an individual act this way. I try and tell myself that these people were once innocent infants....Are you born this way? Is there such thing as pure evil? ::-|

Let's see.

A quick glance at my bookshelf in my den:

Lethal Marraige (Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka)
Night Stalker (Richard Ramirez)
Teach Me to Kill (Pamela Smart)
Green River Killer
The Boston Strangler
Sudden Fury (Larry Schwartz)
The Preppy Murder Case (Robert Chambers)

Not criminal but morbid just the same:
History of the Titanic (ask me anything)
A Night to Remember (Titanic again)

I honestly used to live for Bill Kurtis' American Justice on Wednesday night.

Then I had my kids.

Then the Susan Smith thing came out and I swear to god, I can't sit down and watch that stuff anymore. At least not ANYTHING to do with kids.

I've just again started watching it for things that ONLY relate to adults.

I read the thing about the two kids left in the SUV and cannot comprehend the negligence.

The lady that chased down her kids and drowned them? I just look at my kids, get chills and can't even think how ANYONE could do ANYTHING like that.
