Reality type websites are popping up all over the place now.

Which ones really are worthy of our traffic? It seems to me that a lot of them are cookie-cutter type sites... ie.. let's throw out a bunch of sites that look similar to what's scoring now... And I suppose this was to be expected.

But what does it take to make a good quality reality website that will not only convert, but retain and keep the member's attention spam longer than the trial period that a given affiliate's program may or may not offer?

I have some views on this, of course... but I wanted to throw the question out to see what everyone else thought.

Sure Chris... make us think on a Sunday afternoon. <img src="http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/c0/biglaugh.gif" width="15" height="15">

They have to be believable. So many sites and the TV shows out there, seem rehearsed.

They must be unique. "Reality" doesn't work if you see the same site / idea all over the place. For example, "The Hunting Bambi" idea, whether it was a hoax or not, was successful in getting peoples attention. It caused controversy and raised peoples curiosity to see if someone was actually serious.

"Reality" sites should be the amateurish home video type stuff. Like a video sent in of someones erotic camping trip, or like a home video type thing of some sex party a group of people decided to have at their house one night. They should have the look and feel of amateur photography / videography.

I have a great idea for one!

I think that niche reality sites are the next big thing, kinda like that foot one (cant remember the name of it) but along those lines.

I like reality based sites. Especially the ones that are true reality based and not as Chris described, "cookie cutter types"

Good things become trends though and then the quality cant be filtered from the crap. We all need to be a little more innovative.

But like what's been said, these sites need to be believable, at least in a fantasy sense. Like... "it *could* happen" and not something so far out that it's unbelievable.

I'm going to say that ANY site will work, potentially, the answer lies not in the originality of the site, but in marketing. CollegeFuckFest vs. College Invasion. same premise, CFF was first on the block, but does that mean College Invasion won't work? No. It's all about the marketing.
Coca-Cola was introduced in 1886, but Pepsi didn't come around until twelve years later in 1898.

Sometimes it's not WHAT you're selling, it's how you sell it.

Great point Gunner well said!

What makes a good reality site? Theme? Content? updates?

Is this just a fad?

For true reality content its all in the ad libbed dialogue. Even though the scenario may be rehearsed with the talent its that look of:

"oh my god I can't believe he just said that" look of a deer caught in the headlights on the girls face. She doesn't QUITE know what to expect and its that surprise that CAN'T be faked!

Check the videos on this gallery (http://galleries.sweetmoney.com/gallery.seg/fl185/?r=) for an example.

A good custom content provider is always a plus in a reality site ... Simply because a pro will add just enough lighting to see the important parts, the right close ups and set the right mood. Also a professional shooter will "pull out" the right look in the models, all while keeping the video/photos looking sharp but still amateur. Rather then just get a 3 ccd camera and start shooting invest the time in finding a producer with experience or learn for yourself using differnet types of lighting to help bring out that pussy ...

Too many sites out there seem to think that a reality site should be shot by some guy that likes to fuck and point a 3500 $ camera .. no thought is given to the actual treatment of the video .. hense you'll find sites with blue or even green video .. and always miss the money shot or Penatration close ups .. A cock goin into a dark abyss? since when is that porn?
