You know, as a teenager I could never figure out why Duckie didn't go off with Molly Ringwald at the end of the movie. I was really upset that she chose Andrew McArthey over him. Watching the movie now, through my gay adult eyes, I realize why. I mean, it's so obvious! Look at those shoes! That bolo tie! The little hats and way too cool, yet offbeat, style. Our little Ducky was definitely a nancyboy. Ironic how I used to aspire to be like him. I wonder if John Hughes had this in mind when he made the movie. Hmmm. :rainbow:

And NetRodent, I don't have any friends from my high school days, so there is nobody around to keep those stories and legends going. It's a really strange feeling because except for a few random memories that pop up occasionally, those times don't even seem real to me anymore.

The one battle my mom and I had the most was over my hair. I always wanted a huuuuuuge pompadour/mullet like Daryl Hall had, but mom wouldn't let me. Now, I'm so glad that she won that one, because I can just imagine what the pictures would look like now, LOL!!!

oh for the love of god... is this for real?! fuck guys, you looked really weird. there's not much difference from what i looked like when i was 17 and what i look like now(i just turned 21). just check out my pic when i was 15..:D no 70's or 80's shit, but i still looked funny. i was just plain fat.
