I can't believe it myself, but I've actually read articles out of the Oprah magazine. My bosses wife reads it, and when she is finished it ends up over in the office for our patients to read. One day, I was straightening up the waiting room and pitching the old magazines and some headline on the cover caught my attention, so there I was reading the article. Now, every month I catch myself flipping through the magazine. <img src="http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/j0/leseratte.gif" width="19" height="33">

Actually, my 2 favorite magazines are 2600 and Rolling Stone.

I occasionally buy a copy of Bizarre at an airport and then read it on the plane. I've had some strange looks from people sitting near me. :)

Speaking of Playboy, I have a sizeable collection of old copies from the 80s. Some of them I'm sure are worth some coin too. All in mint condition. Maybe I should look up their value on ebay.

Thanks FunBrunette I was lurking for awhile and I have such a huge collection of playboys I had to speak up.

Evil Chris Playboys sold on ebay one at a time make great cheap promo for your site.

You can put a link to a gallery page for each magazine. Sell one at a time and put a scan or image of the centerfold, the cover, the back, and some other images of the mag surrounded by links to your paysites or sponsers and you have created about 1,000 visitors especially if the link on your mag gallery leads to a tgp gallery. Put the auction as long as you can without any extra expense put the mag for $1.00 and the shipping and handling for $5 or $6 and you will have a lot of valuable traffic. I buy the mags at garage and estate sales just to give away on ebay to get the traffic.

maxim is good but if u've done some travelling pick up a copy from each city u visit....I noticed that when they did the "best place to live" edition, my b/f had the Toronto version and I just happened to be in New York that weekend and it was different...the toronto version said T.o was the best place to live and NY said Ny was the best place...seems like they made a different version for each major city! Pretty cheesey yet very smart on the marketing side!
